| "Suzanne Olivier's paintings are molded in a generous and inspired substance that I can only qualify as poetic for I am unable to find a better way to describe the personal way she paints the "moving originality of things" described by Bergeron." - Robert, Guy "Art Actuel au Québec depuis 1970" |

Through bold
strokes of bright colourful paint, David Grieve succeeds in drawing
the observer into his paintings, where we feel actually present.
His masterful use of light and shadow allows
us to sense both the subtle movement of the leaves of a single
tree and the powerful shuttle of storm clouds moving over fields.
Each painting in its very own way reminds us
of the immense but gentile strength of nature.
David Grieve graduated with honours from Guelph
University with a Bachelor of Arts in 1994. |
